AuSable Autumn by Roger Allen Baut
The AuSable River runs about 130 miles through the Northeast portion of the Lower Penninsula of Michigan, and offers the traveler many opportunities for fishing, hiking and photography. It is also the home of Igaro Springs, which flow into the river, and are located in the upper, left of center, portion of this image. In elder times Igaro Springs was a place the Chippewa Indians would bring their people for healing. It is especially beautiful in the Autumn and a wonderful place to gain peace.
